Make Your Voice Heard

This project aims to provide opportunities for people with experience of homelessness and housing-related support services to make their voices heard and influence policy and practice.

We will do this through a range of opportunities, including online surveys, focus groups, interviews, our expert panel and by supporting two people to be members of the Welsh Government’s Ending Homelessness National Advisory Board.

Housing and homelessness can be full of confusing jargon. Check out our Glossary of Housing Terms to get to know language and build your confidence.

You can choose how and when you want to get involved and make your voice heard. Here are some of the opportunities coming up:

Experts by Experience survey: Eligibility for help when you’re experiencing homelessness

When you make a homelessness application, the council checks certain information about you in order to determine what help they can give you. This includes whether you are in a priority need group, whether you have made yourself homeless intentionally and whether you have a local connection with that area.
